My name is Kuhanathan Velumailum and I go by Nate. I am originally from Srilanka. Cooking has always been my passion since I was young and learned so much from my mom. I finished my culinary studies in Toronto. I have worked in restaurant industry in Toronto then also owned a Malaysian restaurant. I moved to Seattle 24 years ago to work for corporate dining as an executive chef. I fell in love with the Northwest lifestyle and decided to stay here! I have been catering private dinner parties and events for 10 years. I have had the opportunity to cook for celebrities and elite clients alike. I have had the pleasure of sampling several of Chef Nate's deliciously prepared meals, and I can honestly say that this is the best food I've ever tasted. The variety of items on the menu is impressive. The combination of items in each meal is well-selected, and I love that everything is healthy and made from scratch. The flavors are amazing! Everything is always perfectly seasoned to allow the complexity of the dish and its spices to come through. Nate's curries and butter chicken are some of my favorite dishes. I also love the inspired way he works with even very simple ingredients like vegetables and rice.

The flavor and freshness of the scallops and salmon was so tasty it tasted like it was prepared fresh out of the sea. If you love BBQ pork ribs, you’ll enjoy Chef Nate’s St Louis BBQ pork ribs. The ribs were tender, sweet, and tangy, and flavored with smoke like it was smoked for hours. I also had the Herb Chicken, which was superbly flavored with fresh herbs and cut so tenderly with a fork. Each dish prepared by Chef Nate is unique and displays the individual flavors of its origin, which is the experience you’ll savor with every bite. You will be pleasantly surprised how so affordable it is to enjoy these deliciously prepared meals! HATS OFF to Chef Nate and I will definitely be back for more!
What an amazing cuisine experience I had after having a variety of Chef Nate’s mouth-watering prepared meals. Each of the dishes I tried exceeded every expectation my taste buds could imagine. I could taste the spices and marriage of the flavors in each bite I took, which was so savory and flavorful. The freshness of the ingredients stood out and made me want to chow down each dish in record time, BUT, enjoying every bite was well worth it and my tastebuds felt like they were in food heaven. Dishes I tried included St. Louis BBQ Pork Ribs – meat was so tender and moist and fell of the bone, BBQ sauce was sweet, tangy, and added that extra smoke flavor to take the ribs over the top. Malaysian Mee Goreng was so fresh and tasty, well-seasoned with a slight spiciness to it, that made you want to have more. Thai Chicken Penang, OMG the taste is so flavorful and fresh I felt like I was in Thailand having a freshly made dish to enjoy. Each dish stood out on its own and the flavors are unique and one of kind you’ll want to share them with your loved ones and best friends. The best part of this amazing food experience is the cost is so affordable, you can enjoy quality meals at a fraction of the cost of going out to a fancy restaurant. If you “Live to Eat” then you MUST try Chef Nate’s freshly prepared meals…Bon Appetit!
If you’re looking for authentic regional Asian cuisine that will bring satisfaction to your tastebuds, look no further. Chef Nate prepared meals are the perfect go to for meals that will fit any budget and best of all you get fresh, delicious, and flavorful meals to enjoy with your family. The first dish I tried was Chef Nate’s Thai Chicken Penang Curry. The flavor of the spices was superb, heat was just right not upfront, but had a great after taste that kept hitting all the flavors of a classic Thai dish, so fresh I couldn’t stop eating it! Next, I had the Malaysian Mee Goreng dish prepared with egg noodles, prawns, chicken, egg, and bean sprouts. WOW, the flavor of the spices and heat was well balanced with every bite. I also tried the Cheese Ravioli with Chicken Meatballs. It sounds like a simple dish, but all I can say is the Pesto Marinara sauce drench over the ravioli and meatballs was so savory and flavorful, it tasted like the meatballs and ravioli were marinated in the sauce for hours to soak up all of the flavors. Chef Nate’s consistent approach to preparing each dish as if it were for a 5-star hotel/restaurant guest is an experience you’ll enjoy over and over again!
